Get Right is an application designed to help both beginner and experienced weightlifters. Get Right generates procedural workout routines based on a 4 day split (Chest, Biceps and Back, Shoulders and Triceps, and Legs and Core) which incorporate both compound and isolation exercises. A common misconception is that progression is concurrent with repeating the same exercises in an unchanging routine. However, it is necessary to add variety and diversification to your routine, especially in regards to isolation exercises. When you incorporate the same isolation exercises over an extended period of time, they become increasingly easier as your muscles adapt, giving off the illusion of building strength. It is the same reason that your muscles often feel more sore at the start of a new workout program. It is this element of diversification that Get Right aims to add to your workout routines.

FEATURES:

Randomized Workout Routines Organized By Day: Get Right features dozens of exercises corresponding to each muscle group. By incorporating so many different exercises, it ensures that your muscles will not become accustomed to performing the same repeated motions, promoting muscle breakdown every time you generate a routine.

Optional Mesocycle (Training Block) Automation: A mesocycle is essentially a period of training. It typically lasts 6-8 weeks, or about 50 days. If youd rather not keep track of your mesocycles, the process can be completely automated in Get Right. Get Right utilizes 3 different mesocycles which are designed to adhere to the concept of progressive overload. What this means is that during your earlier mesocycles, Get Right will provide you with exercises that will generally tend to have a higher rep range, and subsequently, a lower weight, and during your later training phases, a lower rep range at a higher weight.

Robust Adjustable Rep Range Mechanism: Should you choose not to have your mesocycles automated, you can easily alter the average number of reps by adjusting the slider at the bottom of the screen. In general, doing lower weights at higher reps tends to build muscle endurance, while doing a higher weight at a lower rep range tends to break down muscle, hence building strength.

"Recommended Weight" Calculator: The recommended weight calculator takes the number of reps youve performed for an exercise in order to calculate the ideal weight for you to use at the rep range given. The calculator can optionally integrate your current mesocycle in order to ensure progressive overload. This means that depending on your current training block, the calculator may return a number that is slightly more or slightly less than what would be expected.

Embedded Stopwatch/Timer: A lesser known fact of weightlifting is that the time spent on individual sets and the interim "breaks" plays a large role in muscle breakdown. Version 1.2 of Get Right brings a stopwatch feature that tracks the time users spend on each exercise of their routine.
